It all started when…
I received a phone call from a friend and fellow artist. He had begun working with a company that was interested in commissioning a truly unique corporate gift to give to valued customers. The company was in the oil pipeline business and wanted something to commemorate the signing of important contracts. The obvious choice was memorable pen.
The design brief was:
A truly unique bespoke gift that the receiver would never forget.
A design that truly conveyed the imagery and aesthetic of the company.
A design that was producible on a small scale within budget.
My response was simple:
Send me as much of your corporate marketing material as possible.
Give me one week.
